Advantech WISE 4012 IoT cloud sync fail

Hello

I have had my WISE 4012 logging an analog signal and it was synced up with Dropbox.

It was logging my signal for years and posting .csv files to my dropbox.. it stopped working February 2025.

I cannot connect to dropbox server when I try to get Dropbox authentication.

Is there something wrong with dropbox servers?

How should i proceed?

Thanks

You need to ask the manufacturers of the software for assistance. The Dropbox servers are fine, but, its more than likely API keys or links have changed or broken - at various points these need updating/changing etc. and if a developer doesn't do this the link fails. The "token not ready" error confirms this.

A quick fix would be to attempt to update the software. If there isn't one available you need to reach out to the developers of it.

    Hi AdvantechWISE4012,

As Mark mentioned, since it sounds like you’re experiencing an issue with a third party application, you would need to reach out to the support organization for that app for help. If the developers of this app are having any trouble with the Dropbox API itself, they can reach out to Dropbox developer support directly with the relevant technical details.
