Default access permission for a folder created using /fileops/create_folder for a Business user?

If my app uses /fileops/create_folder to create a new folder and I am connected as a DropBox for Business user, what are the default access permissions given to the new folder?

  • In Dropbox, folders are either shared or not. If you create a new folder inside of an already existing shared folder, then that new folder will be shared too. Otherwise it's private to the user.

    Thanks, Steve.

So does that mean that a new sub-folder completely inherits the parent folder's access privs-- specifically, anyone that has full write access to the parent folder also has full write access to the new child folder?
