Hi there markscranton - thanks for letting us know about this.

Can you please let me know what happens if you click on the 'open permissions'  and the 'Learn more' buttons that are shown in your screenshot?

Are you able to find those files in your Dropbox folder on your computer to try to move them out and back in perhaps?

Let us know more and we'll take it from there, Mark.

Hey markscranton! Sorry for nudging you here.

Do you still need help with this, by any chance?

  • I'm having this same issue.   Any help appreciated.

My MacBook has OS Tahoe 26.0.1.  Dropbox app version:   234.4.5591

    Dropbox has full disk access.

If I click open permissions - an OS dialog opens and asks for my password.   But I have to do this for each folder.   I have more than 50 in the list.

This message shows in window, but It doesn't seem to reduce the number of "issues" even when left for a long time.

I see, thanks for the additional information and the screenshot too mrrichardlewis - much appreciated.

Since you've ensured that Dropbox has full disk access, can you check if copying and/or moving those folders out and back in your Dropbox folder makes any difference? You can try it with a folder as a test at first.

Let us know of any updates.

  • That seems to have worked for now.   Thanks.   Will come back if it happens again.
