Estimate Dropbox Transfer Speed for Upload and Download

Hello Greg-DB

I am trying to establish the transfer speeds I would get before  I start bulk data upload and download to/from Dropbox and my system.

Is there any built-in API to help me find the Download and Upload Speeds with Dropbox.

If not, what would be the best way to estimate the speeds in C#.

Thank-you,

Gagan

Dropbox doesn't offer an API or other mechanism for estimating the upload/download speeds you would see in practice. Your connection speed to Dropbox depends on the routing you get between your ISP and our servers, and may be slower than your ISP's rated speeds. It also depends on a number of other variables, such as the device being used, the implementation of the software performing the transfer, etc., and may vary over time. You may want to check out the Performance Guide.
