iOS users commonly experiencing API error with error code "-11004"
Hello,
We have a problem with our iOS app, which is using the built-in iOS 7 (and above) dropbox app extension to import dropbox files into the app. Randomly many users get the following (which is a error relayed from the dropbox API):
"The operation couldn't be completed. (dropbox.com error -11004.)"
Any ideas if the dropbox developers are aware of this ongoing problem? Also, is there something the app can do to mitigate it?
Best,
Håkan W

If there is a number for an error, why isn't there a list of explanations for the error by number here in dropbox? What's the point of giving me an error code if I can't do anything, even learn anything about the specific error?

I too am experiencing the error 11004 when attempting to download a psd file from Dropbox. It will usually open in the Photoshop Touch creative cloud. I have been trying several times over the past 2 days and continue to get that error.
- ChynnaBlue9 years agoNew member | Level 2I am getting this error today. I can't see a date on this post, so have no idea if this is 3 years or 3 days old. What does this error mean and where can I find a list of DropBox error codes and their meanings?
