problem with frozen executable python program

The SDK includes a file named "trusted-certs.crt". In "dropbox/rest.py", we determine the location of that file using pkg_resources.resource_filename.

I'm not sure how cx_freeze deals with these kinds of things. How did you run cx_freeze?
