IDs that start with "dbmid:" are "team member IDs", often named "team_member_id" on the API. There are a number of ways you can retrieve that via the API, such as by calling /2/team/members/list_v2[/continue], to list all team members, or /2/team/members/get_info_v2, to look up a specific team member. Those are team_members_list_v2, team_members_list_continue_v2, and team_members_get_info_v2, respectively, in the official Dropbox API v2 Python SDK. You could also use the API v2 Explorer if you just need to try out a call manually.
