Update Excel Content API

Hi

 

I have an excel file stored in dropbox. I need to update the contents of this excle via an API.

How can I do this, does dropbox support any APIs to edit the contents of an excel stored in dropbox. 

Or do I have to download, update and upload again to achieve this ? Or is it possible to do this with the help of Paper APIs?

    The Dropbox API does not offer any special functionality for remotely editing Excel files stored on Dropbox. You'd need to download the file, make your changes to the contents, and then upload the new version.
