Automatic download of files to my device through a shared link

If I receive a link with pictures on android (without having the Dropbox application) and access it, is it possible that the pictures are saved on my phone without my agreement?

Hey MLB1, thanks for reaching out to our Community.

Opening a shared link through a mobile browser, won't cause the files to automatically get downloaded to your phone.

Even if the shared link is altered to force the files to download, your browser should first ask you if you want to save them to your device or not.

I hope this helps, but if you have any questions, let me know!

    Thanks!

If the application is installed instead?

Not a problem! The same thing should happen as well. 🙂
