I need to download my files but getting an error that the files cannot be accessed
I am very disappointed with my Dropbox experience. Firstly, I had multiple files that the system could not access which to download which negated the entire purpose of having files stored on a cloud...

That's a Windows error; not from Dropbox. It sounds like your files were marked as Online-only. Did you mark them as Available Offline before trying to open them, so Dropbox could download them back to your computer?

Mark the files as Available Offline so Dropbox can download them back to your computer, and then move them out of the Dropbox folder.
