Not overwriting files anymore
I recently installed Dropbox on a new machine and now whenever I download a file from Dropbox onto my PC, instead of overwriting the existing file, it appends (1) to the file name instead and retains...

Downloading manually. It used to overwrite, but now it doesn't

9 months agoIf you're downloading manually from the site, then it would be related to how your browser is saving the file, and wouldn't be related to Dropbox.
Have you tried changing your downloading settings for your browser to see if this helps?
