Why does my video's duration change when downloading from Dropbox?
When I download a video from Dropbox, the video's length changes from 16 seconds to 1 minute and 32 seconds.
Does anyone know why the video's duration would change? Thank youššš

Hi Megan,
I downloaded an MP4 video file from the mobile Dropbox app that was shared with me.
When I previewed the video, it showed a duration of 16 seconds. However, after I downloaded the video, the length changed to 1 minute and 32 seconds.
Do you know the reason why the video duration would change in this scenario?
Thanks,
Chloe

That sounds odd indeed. If you use the app to preview the content is it 16 seconds, or 1 minute and 32 seconds?
What about your account online? What do you see there?

When I preview the video using both the mobile app and the desktop version, the duration is shown as 16 seconds.

Thanks for checking, Chloe!
If you try to preview that 1 minute video, does it preview? And if it does, can you clarify what you see after the 16 seconds that the normal video lasts?
If you have any screenshots, feel free to send them over.
