Ability to rename Dropbox Backup machine names

Currently in Dropbox Backup all machines are named Mac (1), Mac (2), Mac (3) etc. Please add the ability to change those or at least give an alias so we can be able to understand which machine is wh...

This is what Dropbox support just wrote me:

"After v123, Computer Backup folder names are:
Mac or PC for the first connected device. Following connected devices will be identified by the number. For example, the 2nd PC connected will be called PC(2)
 
Your first connected device will be named Mac or PC, depending on your operating system. The names that will be applied after the first one will have a number appended to the end.
 
At this time, the Computer Backup folders cannot be renamed. The name of the folder is automatically created by enabling the feature."

Am I missing something? 

You claim there is a way?
