All my files are gone, was my account deactivated?
I hadn’t accessed my Dropbox account for a long time, and now all my files are gone. Could they have been deleted due to inactivity? Is there any way to recover them?

No. Unfortunately not.
Once an account is deactivated, the data is permanently removed.

Hi Gabriela Borges, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
If a user hasn't accessed a Dropbox account for over 12 months, then it would be deactivated due to inactivity.
Did you last access the account over 12 months ago prior to now?
This will help me to assist further.

Yes, it’s been more than 12 months since I last accessed the account. Is there anything I can do to recover those files?
