Just to clarify, you signed in to your old Dropbox account, and you didn’t create a new one with your old Dropbox credentials (email address + password), right?
If that’s the case and your files had been deleted all this time ago, I’m afraid you can’t restore them, since there’s a specific recovery window for all Dropbox plans.
However, you can double check your Events page, and see if there’s something more there about your missing files.

It is my original account as I had to reset my password. I never deleted my pictures, which is why I am hoping I will be able to recover them.
I am using the app and cannot see an events page
