I keep seeing a pop-up message online that keeps appearing each time. Can I stop it?
For the past few days, when I log in to the web version of Dropbox.com, I get a pop-up message that says, "View files you have deleted - You can also easily restore or permanently delete them here." Even if I click the OK button, the message keeps appearing every time I log in. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Thanks!153Views1like9Comments

Hi! i logged into my dropbox account for the first time since 2023, and i cant find any files in my account (its a free account). Hello, I hope someone can help. I have had a dropbox account going back many years, and have been using it to upload family photos (and camera uploads automatically from my phone). In October last year, I received an email saying my account had been downgraded as a payment for my plan hadn't gone through—but my inbox is a mess, so I only just saw it this evening. The email said it was downgraded but that my files hadn't been deleted. There was nothing about deletion. However, when I logged in tonight, it's like a brand new account... No files at all, no event/account activity. Has anyone had a similar situation? I'm so frightened that I've lost everything, as this was my backup. I don't know what I'll do if I can't recover my files. That's my wedding, my deceased family members, my whole life going back to 2012... Any assistance at all would be so appreciated. Accidentally logged in using Google SSO instead of username/password, now my files are gone
Hello, I'm not sure if I messed something up with my account but all my past files are gone and it says I'm in the 2GB plan. I normally use the desktop app but recently my laptop died and was sent to repair. So I logged into Dropbox on browser, but accidentally used Google SSO instead of regular username/password. Now it says I'm on a 2GB plan and none of my past files are there. My account should be at 10GB or 20GB (I have been with Dropbox for over 10 years and I believe this was a grandfathered plan). If my Google SSO was mistakenly considered as a new account, how do I recover all the files from the old account? I tried logging in as username/password and seems like I'm stuck on the 2GB now with no history of past files!! Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance! I have had a basic dropbox account for close to 10 years. Maybe a few years ago, I joined a dropbox team so that I could share a few photos with some friends. Recently, the business team account was deleted, but it seems that my personal basic account was impacted as well. I didn't realize that the closing of the business account would impact my personal dropbox as well. I can no longer access my personal account and all of my files i stored there. Signing into dropbox leads me to creating a new account, but the years of documents that I have stored previously is no longer accessible. I've had a drop box subscription for a few years and at renewal, December 1st, 2022, I upgraded to DropBox Plus. Last week I had a blue-screen issue on my Desktop and took it to a repairman. He saved, documents, then (I suppose) cleared the hard drive, and then he reloaded Windows Home 10. When I got my computer back, I noticed I was missing programs - Reaper and Bluebeam. I was annoyed but not too concerned because I had purchase receipts and licenses stored in Dropbox. Then I noticed that Drop Box desktop short-cut was missing. I tried to log-in to DropBox but couldn't remember my password, so the DropBox Chat agent or bot sent me a password reset link. I used that to open DropBox, but all my files are missing. I paid a full year subscription in advance expecting secure cloud storage, but all my stored documents are gone ... very important documents for which there are no or very limited hard copies. Does anyone know how I can recover my old account?
