Hi! I was not able to log into my Dropbox account on my mobile browser. I am positive I typed it in correctly. I was able to change it on my PC browser but it is still saying my new password is incorrect. What should I do? According to https://help.dropbox.com/account-access/one-time-code there are two versions of the "one time sign-in code" email. They are identical except that one of them includes a link for "I didn't try to sign in," presumably to secure the user's account via resetting one's password and such, while the other simply says "If you didn't try to sign in, don't worry. You can safely ignore this email." Neither the email nor that help page elaborate on why it's safe to ignore the email, though. If I receive an email with a security code and I haven't tried to sign in at all recently, wouldn't it always mean someone else is attempting to sign in to my account? Furthermore, because the code is only sent if you type the correct email and password, wouldn't it mean that this person has my Dropbox account password? I'd think that would always be cause for alarm, even if they weren't actually able to get into the account. So what's the difference? Hello , I have access to my email and dropbox account , but I can't login to dropbox password, I put the user and the password correctly, I receive the 2FA validation code by sms a message appears "Check that it is really you to allow the synchronization of all the passwords already added". Hello! I was wondering if I could get feedback/advice from you guys in the dropbox community. I was already logged into one of my dropbox accounts but decided to log out in order to log in to my other ones. When I did and tried logging back in it asked for authentication which I then tried logging into the emails behind the account but Gmail told me that they have deleted the account. I find this weird as I have tried logging into my accounts in the past and it's never asked me for authentication. This situation has happened to me before back in 2022 but when I tried logging back in the day after it let me in. These accounts have pictures that are very special to me of family including some of those that have passed, along with important documents. I really want to get back in these accounts in order to retrieve all my pictures and just move them all onto another platform since I am always having log in issues with dropbox. Ive always signed into my account on safari but for some reason it will no longer let me sign in . I can sign in on firefox . I was the admin of my Dropbox Team when my account was mistakenly added to a new team. I have since removed myself from the new team, but in the process my account was deleted. I had to wait 7 days to re-register with the same email address. Now I cannot join my old team because there is no admin on that team to have me join the old team. Hi -Our main admin left the company. We had access to her dropbox but the freelance IT guy came in, changed our emails from Fasthosts to another provider and cancelled the Fasthost plans, so that email no longer exists and cant be reinstalled. We now have no access to the admin of this Dropbox account and the IT guy has full access as it looks like he's stored the passwords for when he was accessing stuff through Teamviewer - but we need that to stop immediately as other things have gone on We can access the other account linked but they don't have admin permissions, and so our IT guy has full control of this account and not us?! I have always used a personal DropBox account. I joined a team account and synced my accounts. When they deleted my team account, I can no longer access my personal files (neither email address is recognized). How do I regain access to those files?
