how do I get rid of this frustrating pop up when sharing a link with a client? We're a paid dropbox business member and I get a tonne of clients telling me they cant access the files because of this popup. Needs to able to be switch this off. I pay to have ability to share files externally so either make it free and keep the pop up, or let me turn it off. Hello, I have used dropbox for several years (my dropbox mail address was: [Removed as per Community Guidelines]). The problem is that I cannot access my account since 2021. Sep. 2. Resetting password did not work. (No e-mail was arrived from dropbox.) Today, I tried to register dropbox account with the same mail address. Surprisingly, an account with the same mail address was created. Maybe my original account with my data file was deleted. I want to restore my data and original account. Hi there! I've have a free dropbox personal account for 15 years, and at some point added a free Teams account. Several years ago I upgraded the Teams account to a Professional account. ----- Today I got this message, and all my Professional files were taken off my machines (they're still on dropbox of course) Business Dropbox Removed: Your business Dropbox account was removed from this computer because your accounts were unlinked. Your files have not been deleted. ------ I would love to be able to link my two accounts, and continue having two separate dropbox home folders on my machine. Basically, I am leaving the country tomorrow morning and will have extremely limited internet access. I just need it to work how it used to, but I accept that I may need an alternate setup based on whatever Dropbox has changed. When I am signed into my Personal (free) account, it says I have 3TB of space, and the same for the Professional account. Within the settings menu the Pro account is called Personal Account, but when I check the billing plan for the Pro account, it calls it Dropbox Professional. Any solutions? Many Thanks! I need to access my old account. Two-step verification appears to be on. Code was sent to my old phone number, which has changed. I now have a new phone and new number. (Old phone no longer works as the screen is shattered/doesn't power on) I don't recall having an emergency backup code on hand either. I need to get into my old account. My email address for my old account is <SNIP> I know the password. I NEED TO TALK TO CUSTOMER SERVICE BY PHONE OR EMAIL A/S/A/P. I NEED A LIVE PERSON PREFERABLY. (I had to create a new email address, Google account, etc. all because two-step verification was "on". Apparently most of my online activity was linked to my old number, which no longer exists. Hi, I'm not receiving security codes or password reset requests from Dropbox and am therefore unable to login. I can login online however and when trying to disable two-factor authentication there it says that I do not have it set-up. Two questions: 1. Why am i not receiving these emails? 2. why do i even need them if I do not have two factor authentication set-up? Hello, i have an old account and I think my last activity on that account was 2019. I can no longer sign in because I forgot my password, also there is no way for me to reset my password since the email address that was connected to my old dropbox was already deleted on google. I have recently changed laptop so am trying to add Dropbox to my desktop as before. Every time I log in I get the error "there was a problem completing this request": I have changed my email address, password, restarted my computer multiple times but still no luck. I have tried four different times to install and uninstall the dropbox installer, and still no luck. I have gone in to my account and de-linked all connected devices (I'm on a free plan so know I am limited to 3 devices), but that hasn't worked either: Finally, I know it is a problem with my actual user account as I managed to log in with a different username and password for a different dropbox user and it worked fine (all deleted and uninstalled now).
