I cannot delete a Paper document in my account after my email was accessed by someone else
Following an e-mail hacking, I have two files in my Dropbox that I can not delete. These are entitled 'remittance advice.paper'?
Any clue? Thank you
Okay after 2 days I finally got a response back from the Dropbox team. This is how you remove the file. Login to Dropbox via your browser. Click on shared files, you should see the file that you wish to delete, click on the three dots then click remove file.

Hey SWhit, I would suggest opening a private browsing/incognito window and going to this page.
From there, you can submit a help request to our support team directly, to get assistance on this as soon as possible.

Hannah I am trying to share with you the false accounts, but cannot apparently due to community guidelines. Please advise on how I can share this with you so the bad actor account can be removed.

It certainly appears to be saved to my account I get the whole idea of reporting it however there has to be a solution to delete this from my Dropbox account. Please advise ASAP as your help center was unable to help at all.

I am not on this forum for any other reason but to figure out how to delete the file. I have to say it's a bit ridiculous that the help center just totally dropped the case. And does not answer back?

Hi SWhit, could you access this page on an incognito/private browsing window to contact the support team directly?
Make sure to pick an email to which you can receive and send emails from.
