I thought that might be the case but Iâve got emails from Dropbox in my gmail account from years ago so I think itâs the right email address. I couldnât remember the password so thatâs been changed but that shouldnât affect it

If it was over 12 months the data is removed for inactivity and not recoverable.

A quick easy way to check is via www.dropbox.com/events - what does that say or show? Also, if they were accidentally deleted they would be recoverable, for 30 days assuming you are a free user, from that page.
