Stop automatic deletion of files when over quota on a Basic plan

I know I am over my storage limit but I do not want Dropbox to automatically delete anything unless I say so. I do not want to upgrade to any plans or do anything else. I just want my files to stay t...

Hi XxDarkus101Xx, thanks for posting today.

Currently, it wouldn't be possible to prevent this possibility, as it's stated in this article that your files are subject to deletion, if overquota on a Dropbox Basic plan.

The only way to prevent this would be to bring your account under the quota level.
