Using Dropbox Backup with Backblaze or other Cloud Backups no longer works
I use Dropbox Backup but, importantly, I use the setting that means my files are also stored locally, offline, on my computer. For years, I have also used Backblaze as a "backup to my backup" - backi...

I am also a backblaze customer and have exactly the same issue. The issue isnt exclusive to Dropbox but all cloud storage systems using Mac that are in the new folder structure (i.e. 'Cloud Storage' folder).
For me, yes, I am ok with it as I have the extended recovery on my Dropbox meaning if something was to happen I can get it back. I also, sadly, cannot think of any work arounds at present.

I am yes, as I like the fact it still backs up 'everything else' if that makes sense?
So while its redundant on my data it still does the rest of my files (desktop, anything in Documents etc. as I dont use that directory as such).

Curious why you don't use Dropbox Backup on the rest of your files.
Desktop and Documents are the only folders that I DO backup with Dropbox.

So either you need to backup all your data every 30 / 365 days or you run the risk of loosing a file by accidentally changing it.
