DB doesn't see the external hard drive on Mac

Hallo everybody.  I'd like to try the new "Back up an external hard drive to Dropbox" feature, which I understand was added in August 2021, because I would like to synchronize on DB some files that...

You can also check the Dropbox desktop application, under the Backups tab, to see if the checkbox is disabled to hide all the external drive notifications.

Hi Jay,
no, the checkbox is not checked, so notifications are active.

    Thanks, let me know how it goes with another external drive. This can include USB sticks if those are easier to locate.

      Hallo.

      I tried to connect an hard drive and a USB stick, both formatted as MacOS Extended (journaled) but neither of them is detected by DB (while Google Drive detects them).
