7 hours agoHey there, sherbiny, let's see what we can find together about this!
In regards to your shared files requiring an extra verification code, can you let me know how you're sharing these files, and the message the recipients see when they try to open them?
If we're talking about shared links, are you granting can-view or can-edit access?
Now onto your second issue about not seeing a clear option or dedicated setting to manage disabling comments on shared links. Would you mind checking the following steps and let me know if this is what you've tried so far to no avail?
-Log in to dropbox.com.
-Click the name of the file you want to disable comments on.
-Make sure your preview is set to Full screen.
-Click ‘Comments’ in the right sidebar. If the sidebar isn’t open, click the arrow or ‘Comments’ button on the top-right.
-Click the ellipsis (three dots) in the comments window.
-Select ‘Disable comments.
The steps provided above turn off comments, including for anyone accessing a file through an external link. However, if this doesn't work for you, please send over a screenshot showing what you're seeing.
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!
