File Request File Name Issue

If you create a file request and change the naming conventions, removing the uploader's name would result in the exact filename of the original file uploaded.
It should not react the way you are describing it, since it cannot detect the uploader's name from within the middle of the filename.

Hi Jay,
That is what I hoped would happen, but today I found that one of my file requests was filled with 6 files:
Mickey Mouse - Company
Mickey Mouse - Company (1)
Mickey Mouse - Company (2)
and so on! The names were completely gone! Would you be able to break it down into steps what exactly I should do to make sure it leaves the file name completely as is? Thank you SO much for your response!

Simply having the default filename in the naming convention window would be enough, like so.

You can test this yourself by uploading various filetypes with different names to see how they appear on your account.
