How can I add more folders to my Dropbox folder after choosing not to sync all?

Question or Issue

I installed the dropbox desktop app on a new computer I set up.  During the install it asked if I wanted ALL folders/files or just some. I selected a number of folders to be included and proceeded.  I now find that I want to add more of the folders on the .com site to the desktop site and have them synch.  How do I do that?  If I try to "Upload" the folder it wants to upload all of the files in dropbox.

I looked at the help topics and could not find anything that addresses my issue.

Im sure its simple, but I havent figured it out.  Thx

Hi there, tlc328, thanks for reaching out to us today!

If I understand correctly, when you initially installed the desktop app on your computer, you chose to sync certain folders to your Dropbox folder and now you wish to sync more.

You can do so by following the steps in this article.

Let me know if that's what you wanted to do or if I misunderstood your question!

Hey tlc328, hope you’re doing well.

Did you manage to sync more folders to your desktop app with the steps Hannah provided?
