How can I make my files available offline on the desktop app?

Hello. I have been using dropbox for a while now (on my desktop) and would like to enquire how to use dropbox offline. I googled and found this; "turn on the Available offline option", but I am unabl...

Hi there, Melvin55, thanks for posting!

 

If the Dropbox application works correctly on your computer, you should be able to switch a file to "available offline", by right-clicking on it in your Dropbox folder and choosing the "make available offline" option.

 

Let me know if it works or if you have any issues.

    Unfortunately I am still unable to locate the offline option. Can you provide a screenshot? Is this option perhaps only available for paid membership? Thanks again

      Would you mind sending me a screenshot of the options you see on your end, as a first step?

       

      Also, what is your computer's OS version and the Dropbox version you have installed?

       

      You can see the latter, by hovering over your Dropbox icon.
