I can't find how to set the default setting for shared links to view-only instead of edit.
I use a Macbook with Sequoia OS
I share a lot os link with clients. Usually I copy the link right clicking the folder in the Finder App, the choosing copy link. By default this link is CAN EDIT. I ...

You can do this from the Sharing page in your Account settings.

I ama photographer. I send images to my clients via Dropbox. And I split work in my studio with it.
