I can't rename a duplicate file on Mac.

Just to add my experience, this happens all the time and is definitely not "solved" on MacOS 14.6.1 with Dropbox 226.3.4984.

    Keep in mind that I moved your reply to a new thread, since the other one was quite old.

    It seems that you have a problem when trying to rename duplicate files inside your Dropbox folder, correct? If not, feel free to clarify.

    From the info that you've shared, it looks like you're using the beta version ( 226.3.4984) of our app. Can you access your account's settings online here, and turn "Early access" off?

    Once you do that, please uninstall the app using these steps. The next thing would be to reinstall the app, and check if the behavior remains the same.
