I don't like the UI of the latest beta version of the Dropbox desktop app
The current UI (7/30/25) is absolutely perfect, and doesn't need any changes. The new Beta UI actually removes key features and information like sync status and sync order and history.
Please, Staff, I can not express in words, please do not push this Beta forward.
If you insist on releasing this UI, then please allow me to have the option to opt out of it. I use Dropbox every day for my work and I use these key features on a daily basis.
Dropbox really is the best product in the market, and I would hate to have to use an inferior product.

Hey AuroraDrag0n - thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts on this.
Just to make sure we're on the same page, can you clarify your computer's OS version and the version/status of the Dropbox desktop app as shown in your menu bar/taskbar?
A couple of screenshots depicting what's troubling you would also help.
Thank you!

Those syncing features should be rolling out shortly! In the meantime, if you'd prefer to opt out of the experience, you can do so via Account menu → Preferences and toggle "Use the new experience for Dropbox" off.
Are you mainly concerned about the missing features, or is it something about the experience overall that's not working for you?

It says v230.3.8686, running Win 10.

I don't mean to sound dramatic, but it's all of it. The missing sync information, the layout offers less information, the buttons are now strewn around the window instead of neatly organized, and the new design is aesthetically off balance. Again, not to be dramatic, but it really feels like a downgrade in every category. I bought Dropbox to use all of these features for work daily, and it's absolutely perfect the way it is. I recognize Dropbox is already probably invested in this change, but at least let me have the option to choose the layout permanently, it costs you nothing and you'll have a perfectly happy customer.

PLEASE dont take menu features away - people use these and it really is soooo annoying and disappointing when Dropbox does this. There are so many examples of it across the product :(

Hi, has this toggle been removed? I can't seem to find the option to opt out.
