Ipad version of word not syncing with Dropbox
Hi,
I've been syncing Microsoft Word files between my Macbook and Ipad through Dropbox with absolutely no problem.
Right now I noticed that while Word on my Ipad timestamps the time I change...

I went to "settings" and tried "reset Word -- clear all documents". That seemed to do the trick. Thanks!

Thank you for your response. Yes, both my Dropbox and my Word 365 are up to date.
When opening a Word document directly from the IOS Dropbox app, it opens an older version and seems to be struggling to sync it from Dropbox to the phone, repeating the message âdownloading recent changesâ. It used to work perfectly, but I canât use it anymore, unfortunately. I have wondered whether there is something in the content that doesnât agree with the IOS version of the app. A temporary workaround is to rename the document in Dropbox. I am hoping the next update will fix it.

Thanks yes renaming works for me as well. Turning off autosave works but I wish there was a way to turn off that setting as the default for all the docs and not just on each individual doc.

I have the same problem too. I want to sync the same document across iPhone, iPad and Mac through Dropbox, so my boss can read it anytime of the day. The only real solution I could find was to stop using Dropbox and sync through one drive, presto problem gone. Perhaps you can get together with Microsoft and work this out, because Dropbox business model depends on working with all the software providers. And all those work arounds are just a pain in the butt.

Same, I had to switch to OneDrive even though I prefer Dropbox.
