Ipad version of word not syncing with Dropbox

Hi, I've been syncing Microsoft Word files between my Macbook and Ipad through Dropbox with absolutely no problem.    Right now I noticed that while Word on my Ipad timestamps the time I change...

    I went to "settings" and tried "reset Word -- clear all documents". That seemed to do the trick. Thanks!

I haven't reversed the workaround yet. However, since I keep getting the message, that another version exists, I suspect that nothing has gotten any better.

Same as Gcorvin, manual save works in a clunky way but wish auto save would work. Please fix Dropbox

    Could I also request if a solution has been found that all participants in this forum be able to read it? I know many of us have been having this issue for some time. While eliminating auto save works it would still be ideal if we could use the function without having to turn it off. Thanks.
