Is there a way for non-Dropbox users to upload files without requiring their name or email?
I often need a place for people to upload files, which I can then download. These people are never Dropbox members – they are external customers of mine.

To be honest, the person's name and email address is required to upload files to a file request and at the moment, there's no other way for non-Dropbox users to upload files to someone else's account.
If I were you, though, I'd take a look at Emma's tips here and I'd create an idea about this, on our dedicated Idea board.
Ideas that are popular are taken into consideration by the team for future updates or features.
