Multiple uploads not working as intended.

Hi,

Does anyone have any solutions? Tried several times in drag and dropping multiple files to upload to a folder, but each file seems to upload one after the other.

I've emptied the Dropbox cache, but that hasn't done anything. And I have a fibre connection of around 110mbps on a stable wired connection?

Can anyone help or advise? Thanks

Hey MrWizard - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

Just to clarify, are you using the Dropbox desktop app, the mobile app, or a web browser to upload your files?

Let us know more and we'll take it  from there.

    Hi.

Thanks for the reply. I log into Dropbox by the web browser, as normally easier.

    Thanks

I see, thanks for the clarification MrWizard - much appreciated.

Can you also let us know if you get the same results on another browser or an incognito window?

If you do, I'd appreciate a screenshot of the last screen or the error you're getting.

    Hi.

I logged in on an igognito brower (chrome) and tried to upload two large movie files. Same problem occurs. Have attached an image.

    Thanks

Are you sure that it's not working as intended?

When uploading multiple files, while the first is uploading, the next in line states "Waiting..." which indicates that it's waiting for the first file to finish before proceeding. In my tests, as soon as the current file finishes or is cancelled, the next file in line proceeds to upload. There were no errors or anything else to indicate an actual problem.

So the question I would be asking is, are simultaneous uploads supported? I've never known them to be, though I don't upload through the website all too often.

I agree with Rich here. Ive never known simultaneous uploads be supported on the web. They are on a computer that you use Dropbox on (i.e. in to the folder on your machine) but not on web.
