Upload Error (server error) - Tried Multiple Browsers
Hi,
I've been trying to upload a collection of 15 .mov files and the last 3 files will not upload.
I keep getting an error (shown attached) saying there's an upload error (server error). I have space remaining, I have tried multiple browsers and computers, I have tried to uplaod to different folders within my account, and I have made sure the file is playable and not currupt on my computer.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
- Upload it using the desktop software:
www.dropbox.com/downloading
Its much more reliable than the website. It will try and download everything to your machine locally so instead of doing a standard install use the Advanced route and use Selective Sync

Hi Matt, could you try uploading the files using a different browser?
Otherwise, use incognito/private browsing mode without any extensions running, clearing your cache and even resetting your browser entirely.
Let me know how it goes! - Matt H.408 years agoNew member | Level 2
HI Jay,
Thanks for the repsonse.
I've tried both of these, and still no luck (see attached image).
We have footage we need to get to a clinet.
Any other thoughts?

Hey Krys1, if you place the file inside your Dropbox folder, it should sync online, regardless of the filesize. Are you getting any error messages when you’re placing the file inside Dropbox on your desktop by any chance? Please keep us updated here, so as to further advise on next steps!
