I am getting 100Mb/s Speed on speedtest.net but I am getting very slow speeds while uploading the files it is taking hours while google drive takes minutes, I am not sure what seems to be the issue. I am uploading via web app. I run a business if it one folder would take this much time when I will upload all the folders. Can anyone help on this? Any help is appreciated. Thanking you in advance14Views0likes1CommentThe shared link URL is different on the website vs the URL from the Windows app
In website the url contains &st=xxxxxx so we can use the link with with dl.dropboxusercontent.com ending with ;raw=1 While the windows app's sharing link doesn't include the &st=xxxxxx hence chaging dl.dropboxusercontent.com ending with ;raw=1 doesn't work.946Views0likes5CommentsNothing happens when I click on the "Create" button to open a file request.
I have been trying for a couple of days to create a new file request but it's not working. Once you click 'Create' the thinking spinning wheel never completes. Tried different folders, tried over multiple days. Google Chrome. nothing... It wont let me link to a screenshot sorrySolved23Views0likes3CommentsI tried to upload a folder via file request, but nothing happened. Has it been uploaded?
I have received a file request from another user, to upload a folder into his storage "area". I got the email, clicked the link, and got a window with a file submission area. I pressed the upload button. There was no response, no "upload started" or "progress" message. I cannot tell if the folder is being uploaded or has been uploaded. Eventually I can ask the requester if he got the files, but that is potentially a tedious back-and-forth process (especially if the upload failed, or didn't even start). Is there a way for the non-requester to verify that the file is being uploaded?27Views0likes2Comments"That didn't work for some reason" error; I can't open my shared link.
I have a shared link to a gaming document that I've been using for a while. However, every time I've tried to use the link over the pass couple of days, I get the message shown below. I've refreshed the page, used different browsers, cleared my cache, but nothing seems to work. I've had others test the link and they've been able to use it just fine, so I don't believe the document has been delete. Does anyone know how I might be able to access it again?Solved49Views0likes10CommentsThe shared link I sent out truncates the names of files included. Can I adjust the name column?
I’m trying to share a collection of files with non Dropbox users by sending them a link. The files have long names. When the recipients click on the link they get a list of files with very shortened names, such that they cannot tell at a glance which file is which. On the other hand the column showing the size of the files is much wider than needed. Is there any way to give more space to the names of the files? Also, why is the file order seen by the recipients not the same as the order I see in my own Dropbox folder?36Views0likes7CommentsUnable to upload 250 GB from WIN11 laptop both from web and desktop app
I pay for Dropbox Plus and have heaps of cloud space to upload to. Unfortunately I can't seem to be able to upload a 250GB folder whether I use the website or the Desktop APP. Am I missing something fundamental or is 250GB over a limit. It's driving me nuts. Thanks for any help. Vic24Views0likes3CommentsMy shared links can't be viewed properly (the content isn't showing).
Hello team, When I click on the 'share' button on a folder to generate a link, and then view the link, I can't view the database properly. This persists on all browsers, and devices including mobile. Find attached an image.Solved83Views2likes8CommentsWhen I try to upload content using the website, nothing happens.
Since last week I have been unable to upload any files to the Dropbox website. When I click 'upload or drop' and then choose 'file', nothing happens. I have tried clearing the browser (Chrome) cache and deleting cookies, restarting my laptop, and trying a different browser (Edge), but no luck with any of those potential solutions. My colleagues use the desktop version of Dropbox and none of them have had similar issues or know how to help me. Many thanks, RosanneSolved60KViews0likes9Comments
