Please can someone help me understand the difference between Camera Uploads and Timeline Photos

The timeline, or Photos page, is just a display of all the images from every folder in your account, including the Camera Uploads folder. It's a way to view your images; nothing more.
The Camera Uploads folder is where photos are uploaded when you've enabled the automatic upload feature on your mobile device, or the import feature on the Dropbox client on your comptuer.

Thank you Rich! If I delete an image from the Timeline does it also disappear from the CU folder as well (and vice versa)? Also, if I upload all the photos from my phone, will it automatically skip the duplicates (I don't know which photos I have already uploaded because I have turned autoupload off and on over the past few months).
