Re: Dropbox app tries to sync files that are no longer there

Hi ciara, are these shortcuts of symlinks to a NAS? Are those two files physically located in the Dropbox folder?

no they were moved from dropbox folders months ago. I have just gone thru my folders and cleared out a bunch of weeds that i dont need in the cloud any more.. to see if its a space issue but i have no idea how it even "knows" those files are on my nas.. i've never synced any nas folders.  I removed a TON of stuff.. and now its ironically telling me my dropbox is full..

Could you try quitting the Dropbox desktop application entirely, and then delete the cache folder on your machine.

Afterwards, try starting up the app again.
