Thanks for the suggestion Mark , but that is one of the settings that have been correct all the way. Also, there is enough hard drive space to download all of them and selective sync also does contain this specific folder. Do you have any other ideas?

I personally find that automatic offline doesnt work very well.... it certainly doesn't stay on here for my files (and again, like you, I have loads of space). So all I can suggest is manually doing it at the moment.

Right-click the Camera Uploads folder (not the files within it) and make sure the Make available offline option is NOT visible. If it is, click it. The folder could be in a mixed state (some files offline, some online-only.

Good idea Rich Which leads me to another issue: the Dropbox options on right clicking the folder simply don't appear on the Mac I want to do this on. Which is weird as they do on my other - identical - Mac with the same OS. What did I set up on the one that I did not on the other? 🤔
