Selective sync does not load folders
OS: macOS Sierra 10.12
I am unable to use selective sync. I open Dropbox Preferences > Account and click on Change Settings for Selective Sync. Dropbox opens a window and it says "Loading more folders..." And it just stays there forever. It will not bring up my Dropbox folders to check or uncheck for syncing.

Same issue. "Loading more folders…" now for 3+ hrs. OS X 10.10.5 & Dropbox v11.3.18.
I have a directory that has several 8GB backups that I don't want to download to my desktop but currently unable to uncheck the directory from the Selective Sync due to this issue.

Same problem for me since yesterday. Worked fine before.
Also turns my daily workflow into a nightmare since I use selective sync constantly to manage my 800GB dropbox files onto my small hard drive.

This is super frustrating. I'm running macOS Sierra on a 2012 MacBook Pro Retina. Obviously a Dropbox bug if it's happening on Windows, El Capitan and Sierra. They need get on this, stat. Is there a phone number to call Dropbox?

Another update: As noted, letting the selective sync panel sit open all night with my laptop set to not sleep got it populated and I was able to start a sync.
The sync did not seem to be populating my Dropbox, but again letting things set all night with sleep disabled, I finally did get everything populated, so now I'm up and running.
It seems that both selective sync and sync'ing itself have become much slower since the last time I setup a new machine. But both did eventually complete given sufficient patience. Good luck.

Does dropbox ever respond to these problems, or is this just an area to see that other people have the same problem?

Same here, Dropbox became an instant nightmare. Selective sync stopped working alltogether (Mac - El Capitan - Dropbox 10.4.6). Unworkable.

Same problem, Windows 10. I have it installed on multiple computers (two Windows 10, one Windows 7) and they all do this. I've left it up for several hours now and still hasn't filled in.
