Shared link is broken into to lines and the second part is not a hyperlink when I send it to myself.

when i copy link and email it is shown as link and is fine but when sent even to myself the link is broken into to lines and the second part is not a hyperlink so it does not work when clicked on.

That's an issue with how your mail client is displaying the link and not something that Dropbox can control.
