Syncing folders to new mac - all files syncing not just selected folders
Hi,
I have a "new" mac at home, and I signed into dropbox with my work profile and chose the folders (in sync preferences) that I wanted to sync so that I can work on those files at home. Trouble ...

Indeed, it sounds like this is happening, because you initially chose the entire Dropbox folder to sync to your computer.
Is the application still syncing at the moment or did it finish eventually?
You should be able to go into the preferences and remove the folders you don't want, once syncing is finished.
Let me know how it's going and we'll go from there.
