The recipient of my shared folder is asked for an auth code, but it doesn't arrive at their email.
sharing a folder on dropbox, recipient asked for 'additional authentication code' which is supposed to be sent to his email address. the code is never received. also tried to 'transfer copy'. same...

Is he being asked for this one-time code to log in to his Dropbox account perhaps?
If yes, has he also checked his email’s spam folder and added no-reply@dropbox.com to his email contacts?
Let me know and we’ll go from there.

Hi AMW design, just to check, did they create a new Dropbox account? Have they verified their email address with Dropbox yet?
If they're still not receiving the email, I’d recommend that person to get in contact with our support team. They can do this by opening an incognito/private browsing window, while not signed into any account, and accessing this link.
Make sure that they enter the same email they use to login to Dropbox.
