Hi Walter
Yes, I see the folder listed in our sharing tab that you linked in your response. Within that folder, I have other shared subfolders, but not officially sharing the original “illustrate” folder. If I try to “remove from Dropbox,” it doesn’t remove it as a shared folder; instead, it completely removes it from my Dropbox. However, I own and created the folder and need it to exist, just not shared.

1 year agoHi ImgnPixel, could you attach a screenshot showing the options you see for that folder from the shared folders tab on your account?
If you remove the folder from Dropbox using those options, are you then able to unshare the folder from the same ellipsis?

Hi Jay
Sorry for the delayed response; I was engrossed in work. Here’s the screenshot you requested. If I remove the folder from Dropbox using those options, I’m presented with the option to rejoin the Dropbox folder through the “Join” button. At the bottom of the notification, it says, “This folder has been successfully removed from your Dropbox.” However, it still appears under the “Shared Folders” tab, albeit with the “Join” button. Despite being the creator and owner, as evident in my previous screenshots, the folder remains visible in this tab.

If you remove the shared folder from your Dropbox account, you should then get the option to unshare the folder when you click it again from the shared folders tab.
