Why are .wav files not supported within Dropbox now?

I use Dropbox on a variety of manners, but one of the main reasons I use it is to transfer music projects between myself and a collaborator miles away from me. I recently tried to upload a folder with a project in it and a message came up stating that Dropbox does not support. Wav files and they can not be transferred.

I have seen a similar message posted by someone but I did not see a resolution or explanation. I have tried a different browser but always it is the same result, Dropbox will no longer transfer. Wav files. Dropbox support doesn't exist so it is up to Community to help me with a solution or I guess use a different software.
Thank you,

Sorry all, I may have over stated the issue. Upon further review it would seem that DropBox does transfer .wav files, it was just some that would not send although others were fine. I don't understand what the issue was with the few .wav files that wouldn't send from the folder, but at least I may be able to carry on using Dropbox.

    Happy New Year all.

    thank you,

    Chris

Dropbox supports all file types - it does not stop any time of file being sync'd. It may, however, limit what is played back via the website etc. in previews.

Do you have a screenshot of the error?

    Hi Mark,

No I do not but I will capture it next time I see it. I also don't know what exactly what was on those specific files either. It is part of the keyboard part in the song, but I will need to hear back from my friend to see if he notices something missing when he listens to the song.

If it was uploading as part of a package make sure there are no "odd" characters in as that could cause an issue.
