Based on the screenshot it looks like the 10GB taking space on the account is individual files and folders. Keep in mind that you should be able to view what's taking up space when visiting your home page.
I'm suggesting that you check online for the content taking up space, since calculating using your local Dropbox folder isn't necessarily accurate. That is because some of your folders might be selectively synced, or some of your content might be available as online-only.
