I'm using Dropbox on a Windows 11 Dell laptop with v239.4.8.301, but I can't move the Dropbox folder to a new Sandisk 1Tb USB. The Sandisk is recognised on my PC as drive 'D:' I'm currently running out of disk space (1Tb on my hard drive), hence the need to switch to the Sandisk. I have tried changing the Dropbox to the new USB drive by: Clicking on Dropbox. Selecting my avatar. Selecting 'Preferences' then 'Sync'. Selecting the new drive. I get an error message: 'Error with selected folder. This folder is on removable media.' Does anyone know how to switch Dropbox to a USB drive?Solved30Views0likes6CommentsDropbox error: "ERROR: The save failed due to out of memory or disk space."
Dropbox Plan - Basic Device - Windows 11 Lenovo Laptop Operating System/Browser (if using the web) - Windows 11 / Firefox Browser Dropbox App Version (if using the app) - 238.4.6305 Question or Issue Good day, Please can you urgently assist in this matter... I have a basic plan but due to Dropbox option to invite others to the platform I have accumulated 6,75Gb in total. My current usage is 3,91Gb but now Dropbox is giving me an error when saving additional / updating existing files. ERROR: The save failed due to out of memory or disk space. I have enough local diskspace and memory available, dropbox storage utilized is more that what the basic plan allowed but have more space available due to above reason... enough freespace is available. Your urgent assistance will be appreciated. Thank you FrannaSolved22Views0likes4CommentsI'm still getting emails to upgrade my plan because a shared folder is using all my storage.
Why I'm still getting emails to upgrade my plan because out of space. I got only 350 MB of files and I'm added to a shared clients folder with 400+ Gb which I don't own. Why should I upgrade my plan to have the files which are not in my dropbox?!16Views0likes1CommentI keep getting notifications that I'm out of space. Do I have a second Dropbox account?

Dropbox Plan Professional Device M1 iMac Operating System/Browser (if using the web) MacOS Tahoe Dropbox App Version (if using the app) 238.4.6305 Question or Issue My Deskto App is showing that I'm using 4 TB of 4 TB. My online account shows that I'm using 2.76 TB of 4 TB. The online info is correct. The info from the desktop is wrong. I am getting Low Disk Space messages and my files aren't syncing and I think it's because the desktop app thinks I have no space available. Any idea how I can fix this? Hi, I have the basic plan limited to 2GB. Right now they say I have it full even though I only have 700MB of usage: What is this craziness? I literally did nothing in the past weeks and now I got this warning. Thank you. Plus I can't upload here the proof of image because it keeps saying "Media Upload in Progress try again later". What is going on with dropbox??37Views0likes4CommentsHow can I delete files from my over-quota Dropbox Basic account without upgrading to a paid plan?
Question or Issue I have a basic free account which is over the storage limit. I'd like to be able to delete some files so that I'm back in compliance as I really don't need much storage since I'm not working anymore. Apparently, I'm not able to do this without upgrading ($ pay more - at least $9.99/month) to a larger account. This is very frustrating. Any way around this aside from paying for a month and then cancelling or something?22Views0likes1Comment
