C drive too small for Dropbox, I want to use the other partition (ie 'D' drive)
My HP computer's hard disc is 2Tb, but HP set it up as two drives, with the C drive being a tiny 120Gb, meaning I will never get the full use of my Dropbox subscription because the C drive can't supp...

Sorry to hear that and thanks for keeping us posted Kshni!
For your convenience now, I will give you the exact steps you need to take to do this. Hopefully this will work for you following these:
- Click the Dropbox icon in the system tray.
- Click the gear icon (Preferences).
- Click Sync.
- Click Move… (Windows).
- Select the new location for your Dropbox folder.
- Let Dropbox move your folder and its contents to the new location (i.e. your D Drive).
Give this process a little time as the desktop application will need some time to re-index. Once it states "up to date" you'll be fully synced and ready to go.
I hope this helps and please let us know how this goes.

8 years agoSupposing that you moved your Dropbox Folder to your D drive the right way and your desktop app is showing "Up to date" now - meaning that you're fully synced, then you should be able to delete them from your C drive without causing any issues to your Dropbox account ehillman3308!
Hope this helps and let me know if you need anything else!

Thanks for the reply. I did move the files the correct way. The Dropbox indicator on my laptop shows fully synced.
So just select the drive and hit delete.
