Can I rename the root folder that Dropbox is in on Windows?
I have moved all my Dropbox files to a new SSD in my computer which is on Drive E. I found out the hard way to change the location of the Dropbox folder before moving stuff over. Anyways my questio...

Well I was very excited to try this but it won't work either. I get the same message that a file in it is open in another program but I have closed all apps. 😕

10 months agoAside from the Dropbox desktop application, which needs to be open to move the folder, are you certain that there is nothing else on your machine that is currently running which could have files open in the Dropbox folder?
Could you try rebooting the machine and closing all the apps again, and then try moving the Dropbox folder?
