Cannot add Dropbox to Favorites or Locations on MacBook Pro

Hi I have tried all the suggestions for adding Dropbox to either Favorites or Locations on my sidebar and nothing works.  I have tried deleting it and reinstalling it but it wont let me indicating ...

    Hi CMAKEUP, could you try these steps to add the Dropbox folder back into the Locations section?

     

    • Open Finder
    • Click Finder in the top-left of your screen
    • Click Preferences (macOS 12 or earlier) or Settings… (macOS 13 or later)
    • Click the Sidebar tab
    • Under Locations, check Cloud Storage
